Day 28…Life is too short to argue and fight. Count your blessings. Value the people who love you and make the most of each day.

Day 28… Today we rode from Cheyenne WY to Colorado Springs CO. After being on the road for 28 days, things start to wear out… We have over 11,000 miles under our belts for this trip… Jerry’s rear tire needed to be replaced… It’s Saturday and all bike shops are closed Sunday/ Monday… Jerry called all over and found a tire at Cycle Gear. They said they would mount it but could not change it, no big deal, We changed it in the parking lot of Cycle Gear. PS we also found a nail in it. After the change, fast cup of coffee and onto Pikes Peak… 14,114 feet up… we were so high up in the sky it was hard to breath… great views, some place all riders should visit. For me the ride up was stressful because of the traffic stopping as we climbed up. Again as always pictures don’t show the beautiful view, we were looking down on 4 states… Going down was much more enjoyable. We then went to the Garden of the Gods, a local drive park with rock formations and ended the day with a great dinner… Life is Good !!!
