I would like to emphasize my steadfast commitment to the Blue Knights LEMC. Since 2010, I have consistently ridden over 25,000 miles a year, and prior to retirement, I averaged 12,000 to 15,000 miles annually. One of the reasons I own three motorcycles and replace them often due to the mileage. I’ve had the incredible experience of riding to 46 of the 50 states and holding three Iron Butt Awards, including the "Ultimate Coast to Coast to Coast Insanity," which involved an epic ride from Key West to Prudhoe Bay and back. On this trip, I rode with Tammy & Jerry Zollo CT 11. As always, we met up with other Blue Knights in the US and in Canada. One of the meetings was in Alberta, President Eric Larsen and the members of AB 1, set up a dinner for us. Always great to hang with your Brothers.

As a group of dedicated law enforcement officers who enjoy riding motorcycles, we must prioritize camaraderie and shared experiences on the road. You’ll always find me riding alongside fellow Blue Knights; I rarely ride solo and never embark on long trips alone. I have organized rallies that have drawn significant attendance and have hosted gatherings at my homes in NJ and FL throughout the year—not just during election seasons.

I am increasingly concerned about our club losing members each year. It’s time to address some fundamental truths: Who wants to join a motorcycle club that doesn’t ride? Who wants to be part of an organization where some leaders believe owning a motorcycle isn’t a prerequisite? To attract and retain members, we must prioritize riding and socializing. Additionally, personal attacks and negative posts have no place in a club that values BROTHERHOOD FIRST.

It’s time for change, fellow members. Let’s come together and ride forward into a brighter future!
